Yukon is a western Oklahoma City suburb of 25,500 people, located 15 miles from downtown via Interstate 40. The city serves as both a bedroom community and convenient stop for long-distance travelers, with Will Rogers World Airport 20 miles southeast. Highway 92 runs north-south through town, while Highway 4 provides an alternate east-west route. Yukon features a guitar-shaped water tower honoring native son Garth Brooks.
