Yarrowford lies along the A708 in the Yarrow Valley, eight kilometres from Selkirk and easily reached via the A7 Edinburgh-Carlisle route. The village serves as a gateway to scenic Border hill country, with approximately 25 EV charging points available nearby. Yarrowford takes its name from the historic ford that crossed the Yarrow Water here before the current 18th-century stone bridge was constructed.
