Xenia is a small farming town in southeastern Illinois, accessible via State Route 50 about 15 miles north of Flora. Most visitors drive from Effingham, 25 miles northwest via Routes 33 and 50, which connects to Interstate 57. The town sits in rolling prairie country typical of central Illinois, surrounded by corn and soybean fields.
