Worsbrough forms part of Barnsley in South Yorkshire, sitting just 3km south of the town centre across several neighborhoods including Worsbrough Bridge and Common. The A61 provides the main route from both Barnsley to the north and Sheffield 15km south, whilst the M1 at Junction 36 offers motorway access. The historic Worsbrough Mill, a working 17th-century watermill, remains the area's most distinctive landmark.
