Woodlawn sits along the N63 in County Galway, about 30 kilometers northeast of Galway city. It's a handy stop between Galway and Roscommon, with the M6 from Dublin connecting through Athlone before you pick up the N63 south for 45 kilometers. The town has decent EV charging facilities with around a dozen fast chargers, which is grand for longer trips across the western counties. The real draw here is nearby Clonfert Cathedral, a 12th-century gem with an intricately carved Romanesque doorway that's reckoned to be one of the finest examples of Hiberno-Romanesque stonework in the country.
