Woodend, Aberdeenshire

Woodend is a residential area just northwest of Aberdeen city center, sitting along the River Don about 8km from the city via the A96. The A947 connects to nearby Dyce and Aberdeen International Airport (12km southeast), while longer routes use the A96 west toward Inverness or the A90 for coastal connections. The area has good access to Aberdeen's network of approximately 90 public fast chargers. Woodend sits near the historic Brig o' Balgownie, a striking 14th-century stone bridge spanning the River Don.
