Wonastow lies in rural Monmouthshire, reached via local roads connecting to the A40 near Raglan. Most visitors come from Monmouth (6km) or via the A466 from Chepstow. The village sits close to Piercefield Park, where Georgian mansion ruins overlook the Wye's limestone cliffs.
