Winsor lies in Hampshire's New Forest, easily reached via the A36 between Southampton and Salisbury. The M27 motorway sits just south, connecting to Portsmouth and the coast, whilst the A31 provides links to Winchester and Dorset. Most visitors drive from Southampton in about 15 minutes through typical forest countryside.
