Wickenburg is a desert town about an hour northwest of Phoenix via US Highway 60, serving as a gateway to Arizona's wilderness areas. The historic mining community sits at 2,100 feet elevation along the Hassayampa River, surrounded by classic Sonoran Desert landscape. Route 89 connects it to Prescott and northern Arizona, while US 93 heads toward Las Vegas.
