Wheldrake is a North Yorkshire village 8km east of York, reached via the A1036 from the city center or the A19 from further afield. The area sits in the flat Vale of York beside the River Derwent, with country lanes connecting to nearby Elvington and Escrick. Over 80 public EV charging points serve the wider area. St. Helen's Church houses one of Yorkshire's few surviving medieval rood screens.
