West Gerinish

West Gerinish is a remote Outer Hebrides settlement on South Uist, accessed via the A865 from Benbecula Airport (15km north) or Lochboisdale ferry terminal. The village sits amongst machair grassland and small lochs, with about 4 EV charging points serving the scattered island communities. Local fishing boats still use the small natural harbour for landing lobster and crab.
