Wellingtonbridge

Wellingtonbridge is a handy crossing point over the River Barrow in County Wexford, sitting on the R733 between New Ross (8km northwest) and Wexford town (25km southeast). The village serves as a useful link between the eastern and western parts of the county, with drivers typically connecting to the N25 through New Ross for longer journeys to Cork or Waterford, or reaching Dublin via the N11 through Wexford town. The village gets its name from the early 19th-century stone bridge that still carries all the traffic across the Barrow today.
