Wellingore lies along the old Roman Ermine Street, about 15 kilometres south of Lincoln in the Lincolnshire countryside. Most visitors arrive via the A15 from Lincoln or approach from the A17/A15 junction near Sleaford, passing through rolling agricultural land typical of the Lincoln Edge. The village sits conveniently between Lincoln and Grantham, with good connections to the A46 and A1 for longer journeys. All Saints Church boasts a Norman tower that's stood sentinel over the village for nearly nine centuries.
