Weetwood is a leafy Leeds suburb on the A660 Otley Road, about 4 miles north of the city center between Headingley and Adel. The main approach is via the A58 or A65 from the motorway network, with the Ring Road (A6120) providing good connections from east and west. Leeds Bradford Airport is 6 miles northeast via the A658. The area centers around the University of Leeds' Weetwood Hall, a distinctive modernist conference center that dominates the local skyline.
