Webster lies in southeast Harris County between Houston and Galveston Bay, serving the NASA Johnson Space Center area. Take I-45 south from Houston (25 miles) or north from Galveston (30 miles), exiting at NASA Parkway or Bay Area Boulevard. The city connects east-west via NASA Parkway to the space center and Clear Lake. Bayou Plaza shopping center features one of the area's last traditional roller skating rinks with weekend disco sessions.
