Waterside, Oldham

England

England

Waterside occupies the eastern edge of Oldham where suburban streets give way to Pennine moorland. The A663 provides the main route from Oldham centre, whilst the A62 offers an alternative approach through the Tame Valley. Long-distance visitors typically use the M60 to Junction 21, though the trans-Pennine A640 from Yorkshire can prove challenging in winter. The area retains its Victorian heritage through the preserved Former Municipal Baths, a reminder of Oldham's industrial past.
