Washtucna, WA

Washtucna is a tiny farming town along State Route 26 in southeastern Washington's wheat country, about 45 miles southwest of Spokane. The main route runs east-west through the Palouse region, connecting the Tri-Cities area to Spokane via rolling farmland and grain elevators. Its 120-foot concrete grain elevator, built in 1917, towers over the surrounding wheat fields and serves as a landmark visible for miles.
