Wallend occupies a remote spot on Kent's Hoo Peninsula where the Medway meets the Thames Estuary. Reach it via the A228 from Rochester, then the A289 toward Grain - about 90 minutes from London via the M25. The area's grown more EV-friendly with over 80 fast chargers across the peninsula, though most cluster around Rochester.
