Walkinstown

Walkinstown is a mid-20th century residential area in Dublin's southwestern suburbs, well-connected through the M50 at Junction 10 and accessible from the city center via the R137 through Rathmines and Terenure. The area sits between Dublin's center and the Dublin Mountains, with good links to both the N81 toward Blessington and the N7 to Limerick. The famous Walkinstown Roundabout serves as one of Dublin's busiest intersections, where five major roads meet in a complex junction that's become essential infrastructure for the southwestern suburbs.
