Wakerley is a small Rutland village near the Northamptonshire border, reached via the A47 and local roads through Barrowden. The A1 lies 10km east for longer journeys to Leicester or Peterborough. Over 60 EV charging points serve the area. The village sits close to Fineshade Wood, one of the region's largest surviving ancient woodlands with centuries-old oak and ash trees.
