Winthrop is a tiny Arkansas community of about 90 people in the pine hills near the Texas border. Take Highway 32 from Ashdown (12 miles southwest) or connect via Highway 71 and local roads from Interstate 30. The old Missouri Pacific Railroad grade runs right through town, now used as a walking path by locals.
