Winnetka is an upscale North Shore suburb sitting on Lake Michigan, about 20 miles north of Chicago via I-94. The village connects to the Edens Expressway at Willow Road and Winnetka Avenue, while scenic Sheridan Road hugs the lakefront. This leafy community of tree-lined streets and stately homes gained Hollywood fame as the "Home Alone" filming location, with the McCallister house still standing on Lincoln Avenue.
