Wind Point, WI

Wind Point is a small lakefront community on Lake Michigan, about 30 miles south of Milwaukee. Take I-94 to Highway 20 east from Milwaukee, or follow Highway 32 north from the Chicago area for scenic lake views. The lake keeps temperatures moderate year-round. The town's centerpiece is the historic Wind Point Lighthouse, an octagonal tower from 1880 that still guides ships today.
