White Stone is a tiny Northern Neck town of 449 people, about 90 miles southeast of D.C. between the Rappahannock and Potomac rivers. Take US-360 east from Richmond through Warsaw, then Route 3 east to Route 200 south. From D.C., use US-301 south to Route 3 east. The town got its name from a white limestone boulder that once guided ships up the Rappahannock River.
