West Jefferson is a small Alabama town of about 580 people, located 15 miles northwest of Birmingham in Jefferson County's rolling hills. Take I-65 north to Exit 267, then west on Highway 160 to reach it from Birmingham, or connect via US-78 from Tuscaloosa. The area enjoys Alabama's mild climate year-round, and while EV charging is limited locally, Birmingham's network is nearby.
