Watha, NC

Watha is a tiny Pender County community of 271 people along NC Highway 210, about 25 miles north of Wilmington via US-17. The town sits amid pine forests and farmland typical of North Carolina's coastal plain. Most visitors pass through on NC-210 heading to Cape Fear River access points or connecting between Wilmington and Jacksonville. Despite its small size, Watha maintains its own post office.
