Washington, OK

Washington is a small farming community in McClain County, about 20 miles south of Norman via Highway 9. With under 1,000 residents, it sits on rolling Oklahoma prairie land. Most visitors arrive from Oklahoma City by taking I-35 south to the Highway 9 exit near Norman, then heading west. The town's post office has operated continuously since 1892, one of McClain County's oldest.
