Valley Springs is a small city of nearly 1,000 people located eight miles west of Sioux Falls along Highway 11 in southeastern South Dakota. Most visitors arrive via I-90 (Exit 406 at Beaver Creek) or drive directly from Sioux Falls in about 15 minutes. The town sits in rolling prairie country where the Big Sioux River creates gentle hills and farmland. The original 1881 railroad depot still stands as a community center.
