Union Gap, WA

Union Gap sits in Washington's Yakima Valley, just south of Yakima along Interstate 82. The city connects Seattle (150 miles northwest) with the Tri-Cities via I-82, while US Highway 97 provides access to central Washington and Oregon. Most long-distance visitors arrive from the Seattle area or Oregon, with Yakima Air Terminal located 5 miles north of downtown. The city hosts the annual Central Washington State Fair each September at its dedicated fairgrounds.
