Uhland, TX

Uhland is a small Texas town of 2,500 people located 25 miles south of Austin on US Highway 183. Most visitors drive US 183 from Austin or take I-35 to Kyle then FM 150 east. The town sits where Hill Country terrain starts flattening toward the coast, with hot summers and mild winters typical of central Texas. Its most recognizable feature is the old cotton gin tower visible from the highway, a reminder of the area's agricultural past.
