Ty Ty is a small farming community in south-central Georgia, home to 689 people in Tift County's agricultural landscape. Take Exit 63 from Interstate 75 and head east to reach the city center via local roads. State Route 82 runs directly through town, connecting to Tifton 15 minutes east and Sylvester to the west. The city gets its distinctive name from "Tight Eye," referring to a narrow creek passage that early settlers found tricky to cross.
