Tripp, SD

Tripp is a farming town in south-central South Dakota, about 90 miles southwest of Sioux Falls via I-90 and Highway 18. The area features rolling prairie farmland growing corn and soybeans, with hot summers and cold, snowy winters typical of the Great Plains. Local routes connect to Freeman and Olivet for daily needs, while Highway 18 provides the main east-west corridor through the region. The town cemetery on the eastern edge contains graves from the early 1900s, telling the story of the farming families who built this agricultural community.
