Tishomingo, MS

Tishomingo is a tiny county seat in Mississippi's northeast corner, about 15 miles from Alabama. US Highway 72 runs right through town, connecting to Corinth 20 miles west and Tuscumbia, Alabama to the east. Most visitors arrive via US 72 from Interstate 22 near Corinth or through Cherokee, Alabama. The 1870 courthouse with its distinctive mansard roof anchors the small downtown square.
