Three Rivers, TX

Three Rivers is a small South Texas town of about 1,250 people located along US 281, roughly 75 miles southwest of San Antonio. The main route is US 281 south from San Antonio (about 80 minutes), with connections via US 59 from the east and Highway 72 from the west. Most traffic consists of long-distance travelers heading to the Rio Grande Valley or local ranching business. The town sits where the Atascosa River meets two creeks and is home to Barton's General Store, which has operated continuously since 1922.
