Taneyville, MO

Taneyville is a tiny Ozark Mountain community in Taney County with about 200 residents. Highway 160 runs right through town, connecting east to Forsyth and west toward Springfield about 45 miles away. Most visitors pass through on their way to the Branson area, though locals use the same route for daily trips to Forsyth. The town still maintains its own post office, something many similar-sized Missouri communities have lost.
