Syracuse, NE

Syracuse is a small farming town in southeastern Nebraska, about 35 miles from Lincoln via Highway 2. The community of 2,000 sits in rolling agricultural country with the typical Plains climate. Most visitors arrive from Lincoln taking Highway 34 east to Highway 1 south, then Highway 2 west into town. The area has limited EV charging, so plan stops in larger cities. Syracuse's 1916 Carnegie library still operates with its original red brick and limestone design.
