Sutton, WV

Sutton is a small county seat in central West Virginia's mountains, home to about 800 people along the Elk River. Interstate 79 provides the main access, with Charleston 45 miles south and Clarksburg to the north. US Route 19 offers an alternative approach through Braxton County's rural areas. The town hosts the annual West Virginia State Folk Festival each June, showcasing traditional Appalachian culture since 1950.
