Stringtown, OK

Stringtown is a small Oklahoma community of about 400 people located along US Highway 69 in Atoka County's rolling hills. The town connects north to Atoka and south toward Texas, with State Highway 3 providing east-west access across the region. Most visitors arrive from Atoka (15 miles north) or Durant (30 miles southeast), while longer trips connect through US-75 to Oklahoma City. The town got its name from its original layout as houses literally strung along a single main street.
