St. Paul, OR

St. Paul is a tiny farming town of 469 people in Oregon's Willamette Valley, about 45 miles southwest of Portland via Highway 219. Reach it from I-5 at Woodburn (Exit 278) or drive 30 minutes northeast from Salem. The town sits amid vineyards and hop farms between the Cascade and Coast ranges. St. Paul hosts Oregon's largest Independence Day celebration, the annual St. Paul Rodeo, running since 1935.
