Spring City lies along the Schuylkill River about 40 miles northwest of Philadelphia in Chester County. Take US Route 422 west from King of Prussia or Route 29 south along the river for scenic valley views. The borough of 3,700 sits where rolling hills meet the water in Pennsylvania's countryside. Its historic 1874 iron bridge still carries traffic across the Schuylkill between Chester and Montgomery counties.
