Sonora, KY

Sonora is a small Kentucky town of about 650 people, located 15 miles south of Elizabethtown along US Highway 31E. The main route connects north to Louisville via I-65 and south toward Bowling Green, while State Route 61 heads east to Lincoln's birthplace in Hodgenville. The town sits in the rolling Green River valley where Lincoln's father once owned property before moving the family to Indiana.
