Solvang, CA

Solvang is a Danish-themed town in California's Santa Ynez Valley wine country, about 35 miles northwest of Santa Barbara. Visitors typically arrive via Highway 101 to Buellton, then Highway 246 west, or take the scenic Highway 154 through the mountains from Santa Barbara. The town features distinctive windmills, bakeries, and Danish architecture, plus it's home to a replica of Copenhagen's Little Mermaid statue.
