Sodaville is a tiny farming community along Highway 228 in Oregon's Willamette Valley, 8 miles east of Lebanon and 12 miles from Sweet Home. Most people pass through on their way to Cascade Mountain recreation areas or commute to Albany and Corvallis. The town got its name from a natural soda spring that early settlers found bubbling with carbonated mineral water.
