Slaughterville is a small Oklahoma City suburb about 20 miles south via US 77, home to roughly 4,250 people. Most drivers reach it from I-35 at Exit 108, then south on US 77 for 8 miles, or from Norman in 15 minutes on the same highway. The city sits where suburban development meets rural prairie land and famously takes its name from an early 1900s slaughterhouse near the old railroad tracks.
