Silverton, TX

Silverton is a small farming town of 500 people in the Texas Panhandle, about 50 miles southeast of Amarillo. Take US 87 south from Amarillo to Highway 86 east, or drive north from Lubbock via US 87 through Plainview. The town sits on the High Plains among cotton and wheat fields, with Highway 207 providing north-south connections. The 1924 red brick courthouse dominates the historic town square.
