Silverstreet is a tiny South Carolina town of 330 people in Newberry County, about 50 miles northwest of Columbia. Reach it via Highway 121 from US Route 76 or I-26 (Exit 74). The town sits in rolling Piedmont farmland with mild winters and hot, humid summers. It's named after a historic silver mine that operated here in the 1800s.
