Shaw, MS

Shaw is a small Delta town of 1,500 people in Mississippi's cotton country. US Highway 61 runs north-south through town, connecting to Cleveland and Indianola, while Highway 8 heads east-west. Most long-distance travelers use US 61 north to reach Interstate 55 near Batesville for Memphis or Jackson access. The town once hosted the Mississippi Delta Blues Festival and still celebrates its musical heritage with historical markers.
