Seymour, IN

Seymour sits along US Highway 50 in south-central Indiana, about an hour south of Indianapolis via Interstate 65. The city serves as Jackson County's seat, positioned where Indiana's flat farmland begins transitioning to the rolling hills of the Ohio River valley. Most visitors take I-65 to Exit 50, while truckers use the highway as a major north-south freight corridor between the Great Lakes and the South. The city is perhaps best known as rock star John Mellencamp's hometown, with a small museum celebrating the local music legend.
