Scotland, TX

Scotland is a small farming town in north-central Texas, home to 629 people and accessible via US Highway 79. Most visitors arrive from Wichita Falls, about 45 miles west, or continue through on routes connecting larger regional centers. The town sits in rolling prairie country where cotton fields and ranches dominate the landscape under the wide Texas sky. Scotland Cemetery, dating to the 1880s, preserves graves of the Scottish and Irish settlers who named the community.
