Saline is a tiny Louisiana community of 188 people in Bienville Parish, about 40 miles southeast of Shreveport. Take Highway 9 from I-20 near Ruston, or US 80 east from Shreveport to Highway 9 south through piney woods and pastures. The historic general store has anchored this rural crossroads for over a century.
